Today I sat at my desk, my computer to my mouth, inhaling and exhaling as deeply as I could into it's little fan slots.
My computer has died and I, literally, tried to bring it back to life. Unfortunately I deleted some important files when I was trying to fix my computer and rid it of Norton Antivirus. My registry was corrupted. I tried to fix it many ways, but my computer kept overheating (I think) and shutting off (during recovery). At last, I tried just reinstalling Windows, which worked when I used the air in my lungs to cool it down.
All of my files and programs are still on my hard drive. The problem is that I can't access them. I don't have access to the "Patty Cakes" folder on the old OS, probably because it was password protected. But I can't figure out how to unlock it because it won't ask me for the password, it just says "Access Denied."
I don't know what to do, it feels like my baby is dying.
